I Jagdish Jhawar, became CLIA in 2008 under the guidance of Mr. B.S. Mishra ji who was posted SDM in Kharagpur at that time, in 2010. I was 2nd runner-up NOP topper in India, I qualified in the first year itself on the basis of my performance for a trip to Singapore where I could meet many high performers from CLIA channel.
On return, some of us including Rajesh Jaiswal who were like-minded performers from Eastern Zone including decided to form an association for the development of CLIA channel and it was the 13th August 2011 when CWA (Chief Life Insurance Advisor's Welfare Association), was born on the soil of Kolkata. I was declared President of the Eastern region.
I am always a business minded person and I have same mindset that every CLIA and member of CWA should increase his earning. But for that they need training. CWA association aims to double the earning of every CLIA. To train and supervise their team, they should earn well and be in the highest Club of LIC, at least Chairman’s Club. In order to achieve this purpose, we created a mission, 'Train the Trainer' where a CLIA trains other CLIAs and he is called a motivator.
Over time CWA which started its journey with a small seed has grown into a huge tree today. We believe in a quote 'Selfless service is worth more than just a service. - Swami Vivekananda' and we encourage our leaders to do selfless service. We guide each others to grow in their career and today CWA is spread across all the 8 Zones of LIC.
We train CLIAs and their supervisors. We started Guru Shishya Sammelan which provides training to CLIAs and their supervised agents. This has resulted in creating a battery of CLIA Motivators & Trainers throughout India.
When Star, Platinum and Super Platinum brigades were introduced by LIC, we started another mission, it is mandatory to have at least one MDRT in each team. To help CLIAs to achieve this, we started another training program. Mr. Gajendraginh Khair (TTT Chairman CWA), who is India's top MDRT producer, joined us along with other CLIAs and many other MDRT holders. We never lost sight of our real objective that is to create trained professional CLIAs and to grow CLIAs.
We are running another mission to train CLIA spouses where we arrange a session for them to understand the role of their husband and how they can help him. We have named this mission "Role of Wife in Professional Life". It helps them understand how important role their husband is playing to serve the society.
Our organization runs completely on "No Loss - No Profit" basis. It is a welfare program and we successfully host our CWA flag in 90 divisions across India and want our CWA to be recognized all over India. LIC has started a mission for digitization, so we have planned to digitize CWA and launch our website in order to make available updated information on the fingertips of CLIAs. In our website we will provide all our CLIA members with their name and phone number registered with us. If anyone wants to join CWA then he can join us from anywhere through our website. Mr. Nilesh Bhaskar Sathe (Ex. ED CLIA - LICI) has joined us as the Chairman of our Advisory Committee and he is a guiding pole to our CWA. As we move forward, I am confident that our association will continue to grow under the guidance of our distinguished leaders. Together, we will advance to new horizons while fostering unity and will progress within the CLIA Welfare Association. We go together and grow together. Jai CWA.
